Flywheel diameter - 14.13 inches
Flywheel tooth count - 168 teeth
Flywheel has balance weight
This flywheel will not fit 1999 and up vehicles with the 4.3L Engine and the 300mm Torque Converter
More notes about the weight - GM engineers redesigned the crankshafts used in production small-block V8 and V6/90-degree engines in 1986 to use a leak-resistant one-piece rear seal. This change to a one-piece seal required a change in the bolt pattern on the crankshaft flywheel flange. The bolt circle on -1985 and earlier production crankshafts is 3.58" in diameter.
Later crankshafts have a 3.00" bolt circle. All cranks which use a one-piece seal must use a weighted flywheel. Flywheels and flexplates for these cranks are available in 12.85 inch and 14.13 inch diameters.
